Great question! Your builder will calculate accurately how many tiles you need to the nearest box or two. Please use the calculator tool on the website to get a rough idea
Once the area is measured the industry recommendation is to allow at least 10% extra in your tile order so you have enough for off cuts, damages during laying, and any other waste
If you do not allow for wastage and later need more tiles we are happy to redeliver. Normal delivery charges apply and batches may differ
Great question! Delivery is £59.99 per pallet – this is a flat rate that applies to all of mainland UK. Additional surcharge delivery applies to Ireland (NI & ROI), Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, and Scottish Highlands
We are reliant on a 3rd party haulier for the delivery of our tiles on a pallet and we’re charged based on how much space the pallet takes rather than the weight. Delivery on a pallet ensures your tiles are looked after and delivered in the best condition ready to start your project.
You can also opt to collect your tiles from our Leeds warehouse
Great question! Yes, you can take advantage of our free Pack and Hold service for orders over £500. When the order is placed we can pack and hold it in our warehouse until you need it. Rest assured, they will be here and ready for delivery when you are. Your tiles are our responsibility until they are delivered to you.
To take advantage of this service simply place your order and select “I’m not ready. Pack & Hold” during checkout
Great question! Ordering a sample is the best way to appreciate a tile’s colour, finish, variation, and thickness. Samples should only be used for guidance not insurance as it is hard to give a full idea of what you will receive from a small sample.
To order a sample visit the product page of the tile you are interested in and click “Request a Sample”
Great question! If you're looking to update your kitchen and are considering using tiles, you may be wondering if bathroom tiles can be used in the kitchen. The short answer is yes, bathroom tiles can definitely be used in the kitchen. In fact, many people use the same type of tiles for both their bathroom and kitchen to create a cohesive and stylish look throughout their home.
One of the biggest advantages of using bathroom tiles in the kitchen is that they are durable and easy to clean. Kitchen surfaces can see a lot of wear and tear, and tiles are a great way to protect your walls and floors from spills, splashes, and other accidents. Additionally, tiles are easy to clean, so you can quickly wipe up any messes without having to worry about damaging your kitchen surfaces.
Another reason to consider using bathroom tiles in your kitchen is that there are so many different styles and colours to choose from. Whether you're looking for something classic and timeless or something bold and modern, you're sure to find bathroom tiles that will fit your personal style and the overall aesthetic of your kitchen. Plus, because bathroom tiles are available in a wide range of sizes, shapes, and textures, you can create a unique and custom look that's all your own.
Of course, not all bathroom tiles are suitable for use in the kitchen. Some tiles, particularly those with a smooth and glossy finish, may be more susceptible to staining and scratching. In these cases, it's a good idea to use tiles with a matte finish or a textured surface that will be more resistant to damage. You may also want to consider using tiles with a waterproof or stain-resistant finish, particularly if you have a lot of moisture or humidity in your kitchen.
We're happy to accept returns of any unopened and undamaged full boxes within 30 days of delivery. Please organise a pallet delivery company to return the tiles to our warehouse

Important Notes
We would suggest travertine, limestone, or marble for the floors. Travertine and marble are great for walls. Mosaics are good for breaking things up and in slip hazard areas e.g. walk in showers.
All our natural stone tiles are quarried so we cannot guarantee the colour. Each tile is unique and will vary in colour and tone thus the reason for purchasing natural stone. Your Boutique Stone order is packed from the same batch to minimise variation.
To achieve the best look, we recommend laying out all the tiles and looking at them and see how best to blend them before installation. Together with your tiler you can select tiles for more prominent areas and those with unwanted patterns or tones, minor damage, or markings for more discreet locations e.g. under cupboards or in corners. We find this gives an overall even look.
Our free samples of our natural stone are great for giving you a feel of the tile’s colour, finish, variation, and thickness. As they are natural products, travertine, limestone, and marble vary in colour, pattern, and tone – each one will be slightly different.
Samples should only be used for guidance not insurance as it is hard to give a full idea of what you will receive from a 10cmx20cm sample. Travertine and limestone tiles will vary from batch to batch, so a total overview of the characteristics, colours, and tones is impossible by looking at the sample alone. We endeavour to always cut samples from the current batch of tiles that we are selling from.
To help you with this we have a range of images in different rooms of all our products on our website along with a description. We are also happy to email you pictures of a few full-size tiles so that you can get a better idea before deciding. With that said everybody’s screen displays colours differently.
No but our Delivery Price Promise means all orders are charged a flat rate per pallet.
Top Tip — If you are comparing us on price, ensure you compare the cost of delivery as well.
Once you have measured the area, the industry recommendation is to allow at least 10% extra in your tile order so you have enough for off cuts, damages during laying, and any other wastage e.g. tiles with slight imperfections.
The 10% is also recommended if any tiles have natural variation, veins, or fossils not to your taste. If you do not allow for wastage and subsequently need more tiles, we are happy to deliver more tiles to you.
Excess/Unused Tiles
We want you to love your tiles, so we operate a ‘no fuss returns policy’ for surplus tiles and will accept tiles that are still in saleable condition with no marks or chips. Depending on the number of tiles you need to return, please calculate whether it is economically viable since you need to cover the return delivery costs. The responsibility is on you to ensure the goods are packaged correctly and you have appropriate insurance. It is awkward if stock is returned in a condition not suitable for reselling. For more information please refer to our Returns Policy or contact us.
Unwanted Orders
We want you to love your tiles, so we operate a ‘no fuss returns policy’ so we will accept unwanted orders for a restocking charge of £25. This charge covers the resource required to handle the administration, receipting, checking, and repacking of the goods.
Please note the tiles must be packed carefully to ensure they return to us without being damaged. Upon receipt they will be checked for any damage and shortages. If suitable for resell we will refund value of your order minus the restocking charge and any other costs as discussed. The responsibility is on you to ensure the goods are packaged correctly since we cannot refund any stock that is not in the condition suitable for reselling. For more information please refer to our Returns Policy
To minimise returns, save the environment, and help you complete your project on time, please ensure you take advantage of our free sample service and get in touch with us if you have any questions before you place an order.
